Inside Out focuses on women’s interior lives and emotions. Each image holds a moment - a posture, a gesture, an action - where what’s happening beneath the surface is bigger than what's visible.
These are not portraits of specific individuals - they are investigations of shared experience. The women pictured represent universal journeys: the emotional thresholds, uncertainties, and quiet strengths that mark women's lives. Some images feel narrative, suggesting stories before or after the captured moment. Others are pared back - more about the feeling than narrative.
The halftone treatment creates a filter. It both reveals and obscures, echoing how women's experiences are often seen, even when they are deeply felt.
By using anonymous found imagery, the work leaves space for projection. While the images are drawn from my experiences, viewers bring their own memories, recognizing themselves or others in these suspended moments. The viewer helps complete what the art has begun.
